  3. pleasant. always nice to be out on a boat,... then again watching some half-arsed american drama about a bunch of idiots run riot on an island in the middle of no where is always pleasing - especially when you have the comforts of a big screen tv, a cold beer and a fireplace... does anyone want to paint my house while I go fishing this weekend? the more the merrier...

correct, specifically considering it's mainly related to reef tanks. no problem.

    seio m1100

well if it doesnt sell by the end of the auction, i'll put it aside for you (on hold for a few weeks as such) - and you can have it for the start price deal?

  12. hell yes thank goodness for uncapped DSL...! wicked pic's, always nice to see fish and corals in their natural environment.
  13. Well I decided to take the plunge and join those who use the best powerhead on the market. Jetskisteve offered me a TS24 kit (2 x Tunze Streams and multicontroller) at a price I couldnt refuse. So, last night I replaced one of the Seio M1100's with a Tunze 6100 stream (german plugs, only had one adaptor at the time!) Wow, what an insanely cool pump. You always hear people raving about them, but you dont get the picture til it's in your own tank (and I've still got another to put in!!!) I will be setting up the other pump tonight so will take pic's then. I think I will set them up as Tunze recommends by having them tidal, switching on/off between each pump every 6 hours. I have put one of the Seio M1100's in my refugium, the other one is for sale if anyone is interested. A great pump for the price. Selling for the same price as RnB was selling his for, $125 (no offers. will ship anywhere in NZL for $5). PM if interested.

    TANK MOVE

when i shifted from my 4 to 5 foot, it took about a week before they all came around. its just like fragging, ever notice when you frag lps the mother colony gets pissed off and doesnt come back for several days?
  20. ok pies, here's a couple links, i'll try to find the larger tanks that had cutouts. i recall the link showing the tanks in the factory, and had just been made. http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=605433&perpage=25&pagenumber=1 this one is a smart idea... http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=534878
  21. whoa, now this is different... http://www.cichlid-forum.com/articles/diy_1700g_tank_1.php interesting comments on page 8 regarding silicon and bulkheads. also the comment "and a few damsels to get my cycle kicked off" cracked me up... it's a 1700 gallon (shark) tank!

    Ghost Shrimp

i beg to differ,... beer AND crayfish, cant beat that. but so true - MMMMMMMmmmmm crayfish!!!!! i might go out and have a seafood lunch tomorrow, im typing and salivating just thinking of it...!!! it's bizzare how such a trivial topic can end up spanning 3 pages on this forum. is everyone bored? as an aside, i bought some streams off jetskisteve yesterday for a great price. and thanks steve for giving me some time to pay for them, easier on the wallet for now and no way i could have bought them otherwise. returning the favour i see now take streams for example, they cost alot of money in the scheme of things,... it's only a couple of pumps and a controller? so is a glass shrimp in comparison really worth $15?!!! can you compare? no but the point is if you really want something, price is not always the limiting factor. the guy pulled it off and made money out of it! most of you would do the same if you could
