Plus acrylic tanks get scratched alot easier. I would have gone acrylic but bc of turtles nails it would've gone bust. But if you're in a high risk eq area acrylic might stand up better.

Well I'm not really new here but I'd thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Matt. I am a yr 11 student. I have had a turtle(squirtle) since '07 now. He lives in a 220L tank with some neons and danios. I love fish and other aquatic animals, this may be due to my allergies against fur. I like to play golf tennis and badminton. Our team has won the golf Phillips cup(college sport Wellington) 3 years running now. I also loove karate. I train twice a week and teach once a week. In '09 I graded for my sho dan(black belt). Last year I flew up to Auckland to train with the head of the style of karate I'm doing(enshin) Kancho Joko Ninomiya. Hopefully our club will be able to raise enough funds to bring him back next year. And hopefully to Parapraumu!
