something like 1200 long, 500 wide, 600 tall (360L)? metal halides for lighting and something like 80L sump. i think i have a lot of research to do, there is a lot of stuff to figure out for the plumbing and the dividers and bits for the sump. the tank looks like the easy bit hahaha -smurff

that thought had crossed my mind, do have a friend who may be able to build me a nice cabinet. may look into prices of getting a tank built. but then theres lights and piping and everything else, piping it up will be a bit beyond me and same with how to setup a sump -smurff

i have to say i was super impressed with the red sea unit, it was truly amazing hahaha. i may have to go examine the aqua one unit. with my current aqua one tank i think its lacking in lighting and am looking to upgrade that. -smurff

hhmmm. . . had a look at a redsea 250 tank today, was on spacial for $4800 (normally $6000ish), is a fair bit of money, compared to the Aqua one which is $2000 at HHF. is the redsea unit really that much better i did consider converting the tropical tank, but dont think i could part with my fish lol -Smurff

you should also give BNT a call, they sometimes can beat the prices of repco and super cheap, it never hurts to ask them whats the best price they can do you -smurff

took the ship wreck out of teh fish tank today and replaced it with a nice bit of drift wood hope the fish enjoy it ohhhh got the CO2 cylinder up and running aswell got a question for you lot. . . is marine worth the effort, an Aqua One AquaReef 300 & Cabinet has caught my eye. . . -smurff

cheers for the help, it looks like they are still feeding on there sac. however, they seem to be on the move, or being moved by mum and dad, i was going to try move then last night, but thought i sould ask to see if it was safe to do so. 2 -3 are slightly swiming, but only moving about 1cm. the move wont stress them at all? soooo a pair of angels i got off joshlikesfish have decided to lay eggs, i now have a leaf of wiggling eggs, i take it they will hatch in the next few days. what do i feed them and how do i feed them. is decapsulated brine shrimp good for them. i already have some of this stuff http://www.trademe.co.nz/pets-animals/fish/fish-food/auction-447556007.htm or am i better getting the droplet liquid stuff from the fish shop. im buy some christmas moss for them to hide in and maybe some other types of plants. it is a community tank, but i have put up a divider, however the holes are not small enough to stop the babies swimming through cheers Smurff

Cheers anthony law Sophia, the ship wreck i got from animates, will take some more photos tomorrow, have only just got back from a callout at hamilton as for the plants, so it sounds like its best to pay the price to reduce the tears later lol. will have to go plant shopping again when i get paid :happy2:

just finished re-landscaping my fish tank so i got a few amazon sword plants?? and one that has a few big large leaves, however the three plants were something like $40 :nilly: , so any ideas were to get that type of plant cheaper than at HFF? Cheers all

have to agree with ally about the care for the fish, was in the botany fishstop and there were a quite few upside down floaters.
