a mixture really some elctric blues and kadangos peacocks etc.they have respawned again and full of eggs in mouth now

have just had another spawning this morning female is holding got interrupted by my jd so removed him only has about 15 eggs so on the low side but will see how it goes preety good since they are in a community tank

yea had forgotten what you had said firenzenz.so electra male right?when will he color up?just a bad photo sorry.and i think you are right about the kadango just did a google on some young males not fully developed and some ones more developed so this guy i have is a kadango and the young ones i have are undevelpoed males i suspect.im not really that knowledgeable about these guys i have been mainly into the fryeri.just getting into all the different ones now cheers for the ids and cheers for the fish firenzenz

so electra first must be a female? i got the apparent red shoulder from phil but i have kadangos at this size to and they dont look like this im sure its a kind of peacock i did a bit of research and it said the red will come out when the blue covers its body which i can see happening and the third from firenzenz forgot what he called it mate has a definet green to its body not yellow just green with blue head

have no idea at all what this is bought as a german red some sort of peacock nyasee??? i think thats what its called

i have just moved my tank around yesterday and now my big male livinstonii is taking upwhole left side of tank and is even chasing the females away what can i do to stop/prevent this as hes been perfectly fine up until now might actually be selling mt breeding group of livinstoniis aswell

my spray bar which i made is noisy to but u r right will just do that cheers

it wasnt my filter that stopped it was my power head i will do what you said ryan cheers.ill also put an airstone in there just to make sure it wont happen again

Yea mate they are big fish will keep cat away now recovering already cats ay what a scare though alot of money would have been wasted

sorry mate was busy all day.i can get u one made up professioanly but very cheaply if its only a 60 cube shouldnt be more than $50 all painted aswell.my dads a cabinet maker/boatbulder/painter so knows his stuff has built me awesome gear

hey to be honest mate its a huge risk the only way u could have it safely if you could find the foundation braces which spread across the floor and that is the safest way but depending on how big they are you might not be able to get your tank on two of them.have a look at the property under neath the house if you can

as long as your not giving it them all the time its fine i do the same and i give them chicken salami luncheon they love it no after effects as long as its in moderation

I'm not sure which ones they have at animates but I geuss I'll ask and see do I need heat lamp etc I like the tree frogs better I think

What's the survival rate like from tadpole stage to frog stage and basic set up would be tank small amount of water for frogs but tadpoles mainly water so what do u reccommend for set up

well i am rural really but would have thought if people on tm have found them in waiuku in a farm trough i could find some where i am?

have rung most places and they cant get any?what about wild ones like where would i start searching i am semi rural
