hmmm just wondering wht type of Geophagus youve got? btw: its best to transport them in afternoon or daytime =p not that it really matters cause if you do it a night then the water goes Cold. and fish may die if your moving to south island. =p ty, gl & hf

My old ones look nothing like it . Most Geophagus are sometimes crossbreed. The actual look is somewhat different, theres no brown its usually grey and theres no yellow on them. anyway im going to try order them from the shop or something. ty all ill soon post the outcome of my quest =P

sry Carly i didnt have time to explain before. yeah Ira got half it umm, Ira are you sure ?? damn it cuse it said in this book that i got and u need 20 or more, and im not alowed a bigger tank i dont think (mum said) (yes im only a teen) . anyway the other part of the prob is i need the fish . the shop i get my fish from dont have them or any other shoop on the northshore in auckand >_<. i need some tips on how to get them......

ok i got a prob. theres a fish called ... Geophagus Juripari, i think and i really need bout 5 or more (2 inch) to breed obveisly i go have skills with them. i got 30 gollon tank i think with nice pH etc.

i got the same problem kellsz and my ph is just a bit more alkilie then Nuetral. i think they cam from a peice of beautiful tube like wood i got from up north in a lake i snorkeld in (lake Kaiwi.) i had to get a razzor blade to get them of, and yes my pleco didnt touch them ether Benny. so just use a razzor blade
