at what age did it get to this colour? I have 8 of them @7 monthes old,still grey with a black stripe

I just took a few pipi's out of their shells ,ripped them up with my fingers and dropped them in ,dont think ive ever seen my fish get so excited , i think next time i'll dice it finely with a knife -one bit was a bit large,and as usual my greediest fish ,an ice blue decided he'd scoff it -looked like he was going to choke to death for a few seconds!

I am considering feeding pipi to my cichlids once a week ,how do other people do it? -boil it,mash it,slice it... whats the usual method?

I agree with the HFF Mt Roskill vs Albany comments I live 10 minutes from mt Roskill ,but shop at the albany store-spent about $2000 over last 3 months in the albany branch,purely on the better service received over the bridge

Just recieved my new eheim pro 3 2075 from john at organism(got an awesome deal) ,bit of a mission to prime ,but apart from that -very quiet,good water flow,seems like a great filter,im stoked!

Have 3 large pieces of coral in my cihlid tank - the tank had a brown algae problem for a few weeks ,I want to get the coral looking white again ,whats the best way to do it? was thinking about using a toothbrush ,does anyone have any ideas? :roll:
