Well that's great to know. Well they have worked great in that dose for me. Must be the other goodies that is doing the good work. So for even better results I should up the dose to 2.5 tablets to get a slight over dose on the prazi for a 50-60 ltr.
I used to buy the liquid form prazi from lfs but cost to high and never really worked.
The Vita pet all wormer works in 50-60 ltr for my fish 1 tab. WHY ?.
I do not water change after wards just the usual top ups.
I might have stumbled onto a winner.
But if you say that is not enough to work to its fullest potential.
I will be best to use 2 tablets or up to 2.5 tab per 50-60 ltr.
Thank you very much for this information on dosage.
I will continue with the lighter dose but if any infection shows up after I will bang it hard on the bigger Over dose.
That's not so cheap nearly $7- a 50-60 ltr tank.
be results I had from Vita all wormer is 1 Tab in a 50-60 ltr. slugs ,snails guppy fry all okay. Only the week will die. More chance of deaths and more worms and Disease to the fish from our Auckland drinking water. That kills ye snails real fast.
Their was a big advertisement on the private selling site hear about the Waikato table sales and what was getting put up for sale and much more. You ladies might have found just what you were looking for their.
Their are so many strains in NZ of guppy you just got to have the tanks to breed them. If each of your Mongrel females throw 3 different strains to the male that throws 3 of his own then theirs 6 strains to work with +. You will need a min of 3 tanks 600X300X300 tanks per each strain to start with. Fish are Childs play to breed pure. So you should have most of the 6 strains coming out near pure within 12 months etc. Quality is as good as your own eyes.
Most of the new imports guppy are throwing 2- 3 ways in a lot of the strains. So if you want them pure pure it is not hard. KIDDIES PLAY you could call it.
:sage: Hey may be them 6 strains that your guppy are throwing are the 6 most endangered strains in the whole world. You haven't thrown them to the big fish to eat. Have you. :nilly:
They might all be his. The mother might throw 3 different strains and the father might also so you might end up with 6 different type mongrels and what ever their gelling produces.
I personally would never use a bottled bio again. What a wast of good money.
All tanks with bottle bio killed my fish and caused nothing but continuous water problems and bad fish health. Why ? I got a bad batch may be. Well I have had a lot of bad batches then as have used many times over many years and had the same out come.
I JANOLA out my tanks and start again with dirty good bio from a pond or bucket water from out side.
Old bucket water from out side I have not done a full water change on tanks in 3 years. Just top ups. The snails breed well and the fish even better.
Use formalin as ready available from LFS.
You have done all your water changes.
Then might need an instant re bio.
I would personally never use again the bottled bio as is DEATH to my tanks when used.
Clamp fin is also a sign of bad water quality before death. water change if from the tap can also kill what remaining good bio you got left. Some times a water change and a good dosing of dirty good bio water from a green tank or from another tank also a mass dumping of Bio wool from a good sump can change things over night. My bio wool I use when no bio in another tank is in the centre coloumns were flow is threw to out pump.
Their disease which is refereed to as clamp fin has a fancy name. But your symptoms are for many types of illness and the cure to them is Formalin or P/P Are your fish body's rotting before death.
