Planning to do small shipment with requested list, not really keen to purchase big bulk of shipment.. I also ware of percentage of loss during quarantine process. :thup:

Iam base in business zone5, commercial and light industrial area, I got my resource consent to operated retail..every thing is possible if you are keen at it!! I hear from a petshop owner saying there was a man who set up a quarantine in his home garage before,, Most people will tend to think it a big mission for all the construction,plumbing and fitting!! But if you are in the trade and know what u are doing then a septic tank to dispose contaminate water isn't much on a headache!!

Many thanks for the good advise, as i know with requirement is not that easy to swing through. But It seem like many people are on about the cost of setting it up!! May I ask u ,what was approx or extract cost to set one up back in your day? Excluding tanks and stand of course?

thxs for the great tips every1, I find that lighting is do with keep their agro down as well, I only visted once a day, so feeding them is less than usally. I place a board over front panel to keep it dark, and only turn on light when feeding time.\ Still got a good 80%

Company is not hard to form, and plan to setup a quarantine room I can cover that. Im more concert in prepare document work with maf, I don't really have that skill and time to dealt with them..

It's a Electric jack Dempsey, congrats it's a pricey fish aprox $60-80 retail price tag! :nilly: I love these guy, abit hard to look after if water condition is not mint!! As for normal Jack Dempsey they are real hardy!! Not suited for small neon or fighter fish, great save Dachende :thup:

Once fish hooked into blood worm they won't let it go easy!! Let his stomach go empty for a good couple day then drop some arow sticks in that might do the trick To be honest I hate bloodworm!! Shldnt feed bloodworm to fish on daily base, But even with arow stick they get addicted in it too.. Shld try some combination of pellets and prawn!

Any1 breeding Texas cich or got 1 or 2 big boy? so hard to find some good size texas around now!!

After a good dinner at the in-law with some free be wrapped up to take home :gigl: Pull up the drive way and spot a old european woman across the road, she was trying to entry into new chinese neighbour residence home.. :gigl: Definitely lost woman! A van pulled up to her so I when over to check it out! The van was a inorganic searcher with a cichlid fallen assleeping as her mum driving around treasure hunting (its sad to see! she probably can't afford furniture or toys for her kids! And I see some people here saying better to trash it rather giving it away!) anyway the so call scavenger in van was in concert for the old woman as well. Old lady give me address where she stay, as for me iam not the best in electronic! :slfg: so start punching address on iPhone with no luck found :slfg: Ok lady who do u live with? Ph number? (No! Don't remember!) :dunno: Police? (No iam just lost!) :slfg: (Where chapel rd? Where k-mart?) Chapel rd was just infront of her.. Lol! Ok long night so short story! I lead her to k-Mart where she could recognised her way home! So follow her just around the block of my hood.. :sml1: :sml1: She finally pulled into her drive on a flash house(botany that is :slfg: ) Just to make sure I didn't waste my time, so push on house bell to verify her stay! Son iam sure that is! Open and say thxs! As I hob in the car, the eggs head gave Hera blast!! :dunno: Anyway I took off as my good deed is done,(poor old lady)to have a son not caring and to let his old zzz Mom lost in a car in the dark night!! Please people care & look after your oldies and don't let them go wondering late at night!!

A responsible crossbreeder would sell a true masterpiece and it proper ID mixed" A cowboy would flick off anything they breed just to cash up" Try it out you might find it very interesting in cross breeding" Think of the exciting challenge, way more excitement than breeding purity! :gigl:

Update!! thing when CUSTARD!!!!! :an!gry :an!gry I manage to scoope some eggs with black spot on them! the (100's)rest turn into white... interesting the one i scoope out did have some tail attached to eggs, i can see by torching my iphone to it! also spot some tiny bugs that swim very fast !! those tiny worms were there too!!

why do HFF sell something that they are not sure what it is? who ever the exporter in this or which local breeder is selling this is totaly missleading! I think its a male trimac type FH x with female RD= nothing less than RD! still carried alot of RD genes in F1 but not black bar showing. Anyway its going to turn into a non kok RD fish, but nice red colour thou!

Thank YOu, eggs was discover this morning so i will dose it at the end of today! last time i missed out on the breeding so very happy if i can save this lot!

Hello just seeking for a quick answer? when is the best time to dose Meth Blue to protect eggs? first day fish sprawn or wait for a couple of days later? Cant seem to find the answer from google.. Many Thanks. :mbh:

U can't stop it! The only way to stop it,when there is an outbreak disease hit on the species!

it depend! do you like planted tank or not? most non wussy fish love to take out plants, hmm jaguar are not bad, pair of jag with dark gravel and dfwd would be cool..

These little frys are driving crazzzy!! vicious the day they were hatched.. This is the second time i've breed them and to witness them eating eat others! Any pro here breed them befor? with good experience of how to keep% alive?

If you dont like little fish, then my suggestion you should rearch for some good size Central America Cichlids or try couple adult Super REd Severum with planted out tank look crazzzzy!! ask member Fruju to upload his one??
