Some sp of Chiton are soft (from memory) but several sp of snail have no shell also. A better pic and should be able to id from A Calfo ; Reef inverts.

Its a beaut Teal stag looks nicer (as usuall) in person, huge growth there again :evil: :evil: :evil:

Doh cleaned up my pbucket acc and deleted a few too many pics

I use the 10kg dog drontal tabs, crushed in 20l of aquarium water place fish in bucket for 60mins stirring halfway, net fish back into tank and there done. HTH Ben

Also the media plays a big role in it two that i have had success with recently is the aqua medic and zeovit media

Just going from what ive experianced with several models of Ca reacotrs (all be it small reactors) and what is mentioned by Anthony Calfo

but you wont get fully balanced ca, alk levels from a reactor (most of the time any way) so expect it to put in a higher amount of Kh (Alk) than Ca

Cheers everyone the tank is getting a 20% h2o change every fortnight apposed to my 30 % every 4 MONTHS :oops: Im gonna change things around soon because the Colt coral L/H Side is at least twice the size is the pic but doesnt seem to like the chlorides at all so is a bit small at the mo. Im thinking that ill place it in the mid of tank right at the back so that it wont bother any of the SPS (got a collection of 20 Sp now ) and have some main focal points directly under the hallides (im hoping this will give a flow effect similar to cookieX's tank ie a bit more circular will update tank pics and parameters in a couple of weeks Ben

Well got my Ca reactor working again, got 2Kgs of mag and CaCl today (thanks Drifty) Alk is ok @ 8 Ca was like 250 (dupla test) Mg was still high 1300 ? Havent added any for a long long time, is this to do with the low Ca lvls ? Cheers Ben
