  3. Where did you get them from?
  4. went into kapiti kritters today, they obviously dont know much about fish as it took them like 10mins to catch a goldfish, the customer was getting annoyed. pitty that they dont have much fish things too
  5. soft corals seem to be easier. Tank should be fine, lighting is up to you, you could also do t5s.
  6. Want to buy cheap broken -laptops -ipod touch -iphone PM me if you have any of these. Thanks
  7. around 4 foot is good, what types of corals are you looking to keep?
  8. I was just thinking as it works out a lot cheaper for people in the south island if it goes 48 hours about $25 total
  9. Just wondering if anyone has shipped/ received fish that shipped 48hours? how did they go?
  10. you also have to think about moving it as it will be very heavy
  11. I guess you could but it may be quite dirty, i suggest getting a bag or bucket of salt of the net and making your own ASW.
  12. it may cost you more trying to keep your tank stable, than a bigger tank
  13. I was just talking to my mum who works for a freight company and was told they dont take tanks as they are too fragile, and you would have to go with a furniture removers. she thinks it would be cheaper to hire a van and go get it over your self
  14. it is a big risk getting glass tanks via a freight company.
  15. imo scrap 20l and get a bigger tank, it would cost you lees in the long run, and a lot easier to keep
  16. Firstly a sump is the way to go, what lights do you have? you would need coral rock, some wave makers and a heater and water to start your tank cycling
  17. you could use a large sump or barrel for extra water volume?
  18. sounds like they are clogged and need to be replaced
  19. +1 plus it will get too hot in summer
  20. i think its because they aren't moving, like a hatchery
  21. you do know that it takes like 1-2 weeks to hatch the eggs, and a diy brineshrimp makes them in 40 hours
  22. if you take the cartridges out does it go faster?
