Ok so.. Heres the tank with light gravel: And ... HERES THE NEW GRAVEL! It makes the colors of the fish much more noticeable! well worth the change. Also i think its has made my gold spot more confident What do you think ??

I have just brought 2 Rams, which i thought were boy and girl. So far they have shown the "signs" of beening a pair, but im not 100% sure. They seem to kiss each other, and sometimes chase one another a bit. ( ill post a vid of them kissing when it uploads) And they mostly hang out together... Heres some pictures , c if you can tell : This is who i think is a girl.. My logic is the tail, it has no long bits on the end like the other one. Heres who i think is the male, but he seems to not wear the pants in this relationship And another thing that has me questioning there sex, is that they are quite yellow on their stomachs. (Sorry for the bad shots )

Hello In 140L community tank i have white gravel, but i heard it drains the color of the fish What would be the easiest and cheapest way to channge to a dark gravel? I live by the airport, so do you know if there are any local areas where i could grab some or if i need to buy it, what do i buy and how much? Thanks !

Oh ooooo :0 My beta has just built a bubble nest - inside the the net cage!!!! This makes it complicated What do i do now ? The other tank is currently full of corys that im trying to breed... if i take the beta out of the net cage and let him swim about he will stress over the Rams >!>!>!

Hahaha , the fighters are psychos!! Actually now that you mention the black lines... They have gotten really dark!!! I have placed a few flat stones in there so hopefully they will spawn Do you think that the fighter could stress the rams to death if left yo his own devices??? or is it wishful thinking that they will all get along .. I wonder how long i can leave the fighter in the net cage .

Yea i have just put my male into a net cage. He just went nuts!! I also have 3 females in the tank, but they are much smaller and so far don't have a problem, fingers crossed! If anything i would have thought that the beta would be the one getting chased The Rams are so cute together! they are swimming up and down the glass together and what looks like kissing each other :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

I was wondering if i could get one to put in my community tank, (1 beta, 15neons, GS Pleco, 5 kuhliu loaches, 4 platys and 3 female betas in a 150L) But i have read lots of conflicting story's about keeping one with the betas, as they might not be compatible also apparently there are heaps of diff. types and levels of aggression between each.. Can someone help me out with this?

How can you all get so confuzzeld? Goldspot pleco? THe guy@ animates is really knowledgeable about this kinda stuff, and he told me it was a gold spot pleco. If your ever in The Kaiwharawhara animates, ask for less! say you know Dylan And how am i meant to see the bloody things tail? i cant even see him as a whole ! lol hehehe just joking Ill try and have a look tomorrow.
