Haven't updated in over a month! So here we go.. Recently got my wood that I gave to Fordayzbro back, look what he did to it 8) Not a lot else has changed, just more growth I guess.

Just finished helping a friend move house. Got a heap of extra fish, plants and gear :happy2:

I have a book you can borrow CC, Josh might be over this weekend so he can take it back his way if you want 8) I noticed a difference in your photos, very nice. I should upload some of the tank (not my work but still >.<) I just cleaned up.

Did something other than play Minecraft this afternoon :lol: Broke down a little Splish Splash and replaced it with a very nice 60x30x36(?) planted tank I'd been neglecting for far too long! Wiped back the algae to discover the hairgrass was going strong and the shrimp were thriving. Shifted it to my room and added a heater, ready for my adult guppy population sometime this week. Feels good to have a nice tank in my room again! 8)

Hard to tell really, I spot a new batch almost every week but I have half a dozen girls in the one tank.

Not sure if it's just the picture but that looks like almost all of my female guppies, except the ones who've dropped very recently. Perhaps the photo doesn't show it properly? But if it does, she's fine 8)

Sometimes feeding blocks are actually WORSE than leaving the fish without food, they can quickly pollute the water and without someone there to clean up, the fish could be dead by the time you come back. I too have left my fish for over a week without food and they were fine, you're only going until Sunday so they should be sweet. HTH.

Wood's been in there since before the filter change.

It's just a single tube now on for 8 or less hours a day. It went green again basically overnight. I'm sure Animates water test would have picked up excess nutrients though? The water change was a while after the new filter was put on the tank.

Hey guys, not my tank but I'm trying to help out. This same thing keeps happening over and over again, despite large (90%) water changes. Animates tested the water and they said it was perfect. The tank gets no direct sunlight and has a single tube over it. Contains a couple of Angels, some Cories and a couple of Kuhli Loaches. No live plants, just fake ones, also driftwood and silica sand. Has only started happening after the filter's been replaced by the new HOB in the photo. Thanks!
