The nest is still large, she seems keen but he is taking his time. Fingers crossed for a spawn, no fish damage, yet.

That's how some fighters, especially females full of eggs are. Do these look similar?

Is the bulge to the left, right, above or below of the fish? Does the fihs appear to be different in any other way?

Thanks REEVESTA, I'll go have a look tomorrow. Also see some sort of plant at my local stream/creak/trickle. Any shops I can get rocks from?

Where can I/do you get rocks for your aquarium from? They only sell schist at my LFS and I want some like those in Mr. Amano's nature aquariums. Do I go to some landscaping place or something?

How much did you clean it? It sounds very suspicious... Never heard of anything like this before but if it's happening in matter of hours then a whole tank tear down might be needed. Good luck

Sorry to hear about your fish rob1066. My male has kept his bubble nest up against the front glass and the female is coming out more. She's still swollen with eggs and her egg spot is still very clearly visible.

My boy has built a nest about 10cms long but not very high along the frong glass. No spawning yet but I'm still hopeful. Just read the info in this and other threads like it. The main thing I've learned is to leave them alone. As soon as I stopped looking at them and covered up their tank, he built a mssive nest. Good luck

I used to have and aviary ful l of Zebby's too, cut it down to a male and female in an indoor cage that we put outside on sunny days.

I covered up their tank but had a little peek this morning. He's built a large nest with huge bubbles on the front glass and he's hanging around it. They both seem to be free of injuries.

Nope, I am just Sam. Heapsa people have trouble with that, they think it needs to be Samuel or Samson, can't handle JUST SAM.

If you sit up the front of the bus then you can hear them going at it. You wouldn't think that bus driving is that exciting but they make it seem super cool.
