Hi all. Both of my breeding pair of Convicts have just developed a bulging right eye. It appears to have developed over night. They had Babies about 4 weeks ago, which are now free swimming. I am just doing a water change. Does anyone have any advice on what else I can do for my Convicts. Do you know what this is? I am worried if I put a treatment in the tank the parents might eat the babies, or that the treatment may harm the babies. What can I do?

I think they are getting on a bit beter now But old one still gives her a small hiss if she comes to close.

Hi all We just got our second cockatiel and put her in with our five year old one and our old one seams to egde away from the new one when she comes near, like she doesnt want to be near. Is this a problem or will they just get along later on? And also any one know any good names for her? The other Cockatiels name is lightning and we want a name that goes with it she is half yellow and half grey. Any ideas?

I dont think they can change sex. maybe you just sexed them wrong from the start?

Turns out that it is a fungel ifection inside her head that had broken through the skin and there was noting i could do about it. and now im sad because i got her put down But now i got three more females but they are only about 3-4cm and my largest krib is about 7-8cm!
