I just drop them in the tank one by one, and they love them. Dirt and all. Wish it would rain here so that I could get some for mine.

LMAO this happened to me a while ago. I had some golden barbs in the tank with my smaller oscars. My neighbour came over to have a look at my tanks. While I was showing her there tank I was like "what the hell has she got in her mouth" yep the golden barbs dispeared pretty quick after that.

LMAO Sorry I just have to say this. I moved my huge family of fishes 6 times last yr. I can now have all 8 tanks moved in 24 hrs. I feel like I should go into business doing tank relocation. I do hope your move went really well.

The steak wasn't just good. IT WAS GREAT.......I even had two bits. :oops: It was nice to meet doodle and Luke (again). Now I wonder what they thought of us. Thanks rob for havin it at your place. Everyone loved checkin out your tanks.

LMAO I would love to say I have counted them, but hey the little things will not keep still long enough to do a head count. Theya re doing well now, and I hope they continual to do so. I think there is about 100 after loosing a few to the filter. I will try to do a undated pic in the next few days.

LOL sorry Jude, I was the one that told ROb to put it here as well since it is a club event. I hope some of you MB hamilton people make sure that you come along. I will be ther ewith bells on. I would add a pic here, but I dont know how......hehehehe I did infact take the parents out tonight, I am guessing the babies are about 8 to 10 days as they are free swimmin around the tank, playin as little ones do.

Mum has now lost control of keepin her two hundred odd babies in the cave, and they are out swimmin around. Leavin dad as he is not eattin them, but if he tries, watch out.

Hi there everyone. My Geophagus brasiliensis female surprised me today lettin her fry out of the cave. My question is........will it be ok to leave dad in the tank with her and the fry, or should I remove him. Mum is always chasing him away, and picking up her young and taking them back to the cave. Any advise on this please. Thanks

Has anyone ever used pumice in there tanks. I was thinking of sticking a whole lot of peices together and putting them in my tank. But I want to make sure that it is safe first.

Get a Oscar, I have got mine jumping out the water to get worms from my hand. ( just a note though, watch ya fingers, they like them too).

Are you guys saying that you can buy hairgrass at garden shops, which would be cheaper than the LFS???? And if so what other plants can you buy from Garden centers that you can put in ya tanks??? My tanks always look so bear, and it would be good to get bigger plants in them so that it takes longer for the fish to destoy them.
