seems he had another illness his scales were pointing out and was getting larger around the tummy very quickly. unsure what that was?

thanks ever so much... seems they had problems at jansens botany at the time (I have had great luck breeding with a couple ive bought from breeders in auckland) have fry about a month old now & can't wait till they grow up to see the colours etc

Ive had the same problem myself good advise form Cam otherwise leave the male alone in the tank for a week or two without female near at all...hopefully you have a 2nd tank? then try again at a later date otherwise go with Cam's Advise & you may have some luck also it's taken me 2-3 attempts to get it to happen the first time as a breed have also found they pref stormy weather Good Luck

received some Existing Culture month ago and made it about a week ago added active dry yeast & macoaties creamy porridge but just growing mold and stinks but no micro worms as per this website instructions http://ovas.ca/index.php?page=25

having trouble with my micro worms been feeding them brime shrimp & Sera micron powdered food any advice for me with micro worms...or can they do okay without them have gone without them so far..

Congratz, just had my first breeding success also and the fry are 4 days old now, free swimming well

the fry hatched this morning...unsure when to take him out fry seem to be dropping out of the nest most of the day how can you really tell if there are FREE swimming as yet? this is the 3RD day since he spawned.

Looks like my fishes are gonna have fry. There been busy all day since this morning have taken the female out. They haven't stopped all day ITS SO AMAZING I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: can't wait for this up and commings gonna need to do more research any advice out there? First time parents & Breeder.

seems he still chasing her now & then. But seems to be resting alot in bottom corner near pebbles. Male seems to loss interest just as she gives in for him I Believe. Not sure what next to do..

Siamese fighting Fish Have male making bubble nests under half poly cup. Have today introduce the female in a holding tank. Wonder when is best to let female out? Bubble nest seems to be very big now PLEASE HELP

OMG another female was found dead today (That makes for 2 losses in last several months) What could it be? is there any other test I should be doing.. I have Stress Coat/Stress Zyme/ Ammo Lock 'n now Melafix Have been testing PH & seems to be Good. PLEASE HELP

Yes but not having much luck with hexagon Breeding tank, Males seem to blow bubbles in holders in Community Tank. Will take pictures over next week. Veil tails mainly I Believe. Males are held in Holding containers with Community tank which house 8-9 Females. Am soon to be getting my thrid Tank Tonight with 2 or 3 more Fighters.
