  1. No movement on the flower spike, it may have grown another 5mm is all. I setup an emerse tank of plants today. A work in progress, will have a few more tweaks until I get it just to my liking.
  2. This is the only one I found 220203146
  3. Nice tanks. Your angels are very pretty.
  4. I can do under tank. Just put it into a sheet of poly. Brilliant. Clearly too early in the morning for my lateral thinking switch to be flipped on
  5. I was wondering if a water bed heater would be suitable and safe to use as an under gravel heater? One became available to me and it is 350W, so that got me to thinking.
  6. I would love to have mine throw a runner out. They are such nice looking plants. I had mine specially ordered in by HFF, was only $20.
  7. Today's photo and a full one of the uruguayensis
  8. Cheers for that. Our power went from 23.92 to 26.74c kwh this last account. It costs me $27 for my 4' tank atm.
  9. Never tried it. I would boil it a couple of times to be sure and try it in a tank with less precious fish to start with. Should work tho, depending on how large the pumice is.
  10. They would sell binoculars to a blind man if they could.
  11. I suggest you soak your pumice for a while prior to putting it into your fish tank. Pumice can contain pockets of sulphur and other harmful substances. I lost a tank of fish from chemicals leaching out of pumice. From then on I have soaked the pumice for a couple of months, changing the water daily, and have not had any more loses.
  12. Awesome idea Supasi. I have a spare 200L tank I have been wondering what to do with. An emerse tank it shall be! I will be watching it every hour from tomorrow. It is next to my fry tank. I have been watching them. Cherry barb fry which are only 1-2mm long atm.
  13. So those crypts are emerse and in pots??? Do they grow better that way? I am so going to grow some of mine like that. Excellent idea.
  14. yes on both counts alan. red on underside. and uruguayensis. the leaves are almost 600mm too, growing strong. my balansae crypt is almost 600mm long too
  15. Interesting. I got it from Redwood Aquatics. He had it planted ~600mm deep too. It will be my first flower on a Crypt.
  16. OK I will take a photo every day. Will it shoot for the surface before it opens? If so it still has 18" to go...
  17. I this crypt C. wendtii "Mi Oya"? And is that a flower stalk it is shooting up? (the leaves are dirty with stirred up sand)
  18. Awesome Nav. Good Work. I would love to see the babies.
