  1. yer lol its no problem ill take this as a learning experience
  2. ok thanks for sorting that out yes pics where taken in queensland ill take ur word for it being a lace monitor dude only reason i thoought was sandy is coz my mates mum is vet nurse and was there when pic was taken and she said was... thanks for correcting me will make sure i check again and again before i open my mouth lol
  3. Sorry for confusion but it is definatly a Sand goanna. It is only a juvenile and that is why the markings are so vivid but if u look at >> that picture is a adult sandy with faded marking and this next one is yet another Juvenile sandy in a tree with same marking including the 2 large tail strips that lace monitors dont have and here is a picture of a juvenile lace monitor And the only reason it is up tree is because it was chased up there by my little sisters and then they came and got me to take a picture
  4. Is definatly a sandy its exactly same as the ones in your pic accept they are extremly dirty lol
  5. He was about 1 meter but they get bigger up to 1.6 meters and no the barbed wire is to stop people going into private property lol the barbed wire is nothing to them their skin is to strong
  6. Wassup people here is a wild sand goanna found here in australia Hope u enjoy them
  7. Heres some pics of my (female) lil lawson Saphire Aint she a lil sweet heart And now some of my male Steel who is a Pagona Barbata when he was about 8 months old he is now 15 months and i will be updating the photos soon.
  8. No he was in the tree at first but when sun died down he climbed down to go back into his cave so thats when i grabed him. And im not sure what the rules are about CB but if its possible i will look into it because they are so nice and they get anywhere from 8-9 feet here biggest ive seen would be 7-8 foot.
  9. Hey guys and girls, I was at the beach watching some boat racing when i came across a baby Sand Goanna so i thought i would take some pics to show you some wild aussie reptiles. In the end i picked him up remembering he was about 4-5 foot long and still a baby lol but put him back down because he was alot stronger than i at first thought he would be lol. Here they are: And i thought i would include some pics of the races, so you know what i was doing lol: Well thats it for today tell me what you think
  10. He is very nice and lucky to be in that large enclosure lol. Could you get any more photos of just your beardie like these HERE. Just some close ups because i love seeing up close personality shots lol. Thanks
  11. it is never reccommended to mix reptile species but a trial could be ok i personally wouldnt do it because my beardie is very teritorial and attack bluey till dead plus it is frowned apon lol. But yet again i say give it a try and watch them very closely And tell us how it goes.
  12. looks good aye, Cant wait to see finished product, with the dragons in it.
  13. they are cute lil things. I see them quite often running around the waters edge :bounce:
