My fishies are sick so I walked to the shop and bought a bottle of Melafix and a bottle of Pimafix, which cost $60 Now I'm going to make lunch and watch a movie.

Some of them were taken on the Auto ISO function, some on Auto Adjustemt, and some on Programme Auto on variuous ISO settings. The pics are all 8 MegaPixel (2MB), although I resized them as I downloaded them onto ImageShack. None of these pics have been edited - they're all straight off the camera.

You could put either Rams, Apistos, Shellies or Kribs in there. Just stick to one pair or a harem though because they are territorial and if you put more in then they would beat each other up.

You could breed tonnes of different species in that tank. Dwarf cichlids, danios, small gouramis, tetras, corydoras, dario dario etc etc.

Why do you need 14,000K T5HO? What's wrong with getting some Arcadia Plant Pros or something like that which will give you much better results? Also have you considered ordering from overseas? Sure, it would be quite expensive, but you will have much more variety to choose from. If you do end up buying from overseas, get some Giesemann Middays - apparenty they produce wicked colours in the plants :thup:

Mr. Runty was near death yesterday so I put him out of his misery. I now have two lonely females. (Even though I really wanted to breed these fish, I'm actually kind of pleased to be rid of Runty :facepalm: :oops: )

Wow I love the peacocks, litobates and that big blue one !drool: Albinos are a bit grose though, never really been a fan of albino fish.

Antwan, I didn't mean to, but I hope you can understand that I'm feeling a bit miffed about this so I'm not in the best frame of mind. John is a great guy and he did his best I'm sure, but I am really upset about losing my nice male :lol: :facepalm: I checked him again and he is definately deformed, no point in breeding from a deformed fish. Buy hey I still have my macmasteri and they're really nice so I'll focus on them for the time being :thup:

Maybe... He is a bit deformed though. He has this little bump on one side which is really noticable because it has an iridescent blue scale on it so it shines every time he catches the light :facepalm:

Speaking of dead fish, lost my male trifasciata today :tears: &c:ry Now I've just got the scrawny runty hideous little ugly male left :sick: Don't no why John picked him out for me :dunno: But the other male was simply stunning, nicer than my original male from Redwoods. Both of the females are also beautiful too. Hopefully if they spawn with the runty one then the fry will be nice so I can keep some of them and ditch Mr. Runty.

My big male has a fungal infection on his head so I set up the spare tank this morning that I got from Caryl. I have added some Wunder Tonic and I'm using a Xinyou sponge filter and the thermostat is set to 26 degrees. Hopefully he'll recover... :tears:

I made the most delicious banana cake yesterday, which I took to the MAC meeting. I picked up the spare tank from Caryl so hopefully if I have any more little Apisto fry I'll be able to raise them successfully.

I made a beautiful lemon chicken sauce to go with my chicken for tea last night and tonight I am going to eat the leftovers !drool: I haven't been worrying about the 28th and I highly doubt anything will still happen. The only bad thing that happened today was that a guy pushed me and swore at me for no reason. No big disasters or catastrophes or anything :dunno: I wonder what sort of culinary uses zombies would have...

She was sleeping on my pillows :facepalm: So I had to change the covers afterwards as they were covered in black Sooty fur and dust. Today I pulled my duvet right up and covered the pillows so she can't sleep on them
