ty for the help alan but im not sure if im going to keep them or not , ok i fixed the tank so there can not jump out i got them in a 30x30x30 tank is that ok got stones in the bottom and fillter and haeter in tank and some plants. as for the mop thingy that got to way until next week as i got not wool but not sure if breeding them is a good idaer . ok for my next q's 1. what temp do it need to be . 2. what the ph etc need to be . 3. can they go in a tank with other fish and if so what . 4. how big do they get. 5. what is the scientfic name for them . bikiegirl

welcome Vdoubleyou And for Cycling tanks not to sure what u should do i only cycle my tanks for 2 weeks then add a fish to help it along , but i had dun a full tank clean and added the fish about 3 hr after refulling so not sure on that Cycling tanks thingy sorry , but it works ok for me :lol: bikiegirl

thanks for the help lra i was going to clean it in the bath but we work out it will not fit but it was funny trying we did use a tape to see if it fit watch it did but we forgot about the door size lol ,so it now going to wait until tomorr and take it out side to clean lol . bikiegirl

i was given( will i take them of some one who was not looking after them right the tank was as green as grass and the smelled bad and they the only ones in it so i take them home lol ) one of each of them today(females) and they look the same only diff is the body size this is the frist time ive have them so can some one tell me is the fry hard to see whos who as i got them in the same tank and r very close to dropping .

ty u all for ur help ive tune the temp up and i think it was stress as i been playing around with the filter ,the severums keeped hiding under it so ive been moveing it to find a places so there do not hide under it, but the tonic seem to be working as i been watching the tank and now i only see one fish with it but now . but im still going to finsh the med cycle ,im doing a water change in it today with will be 4 days after frist putting the tonic in the tank. so far temp is at 30 ph, ammonia is ok and i got a blue tank lol and i do not use carbon (not sure what that is so do not use it )

yep i see that cool wh en seen it was so not to sure on how it wood go but it looks like its going to be a good fight .

hi can some one tell me what white spot looks like plz as ive just lost my 2nd fish in 12hrs and the rest of the tank mates have got some little white speck all over they fins ive put some thing called tonic in the tank for now as it got for white spot on the bottle but if it is white is this the best thing to use or??? bikiegirl

not sure if this is the right place for this but here go a frend sent me this tonight in email and has a very bad white in he tank now . his words there is a dealer on the net(trademe) selling lots of fish that are pickup Auckland only, that is where I got the white spot from, please feel free to contact anyone you know to warn them, he will not meet you at his place, rather he will only meet at a parking lot or the museum or something like that, very dicey, bikiegirl
