is that the only discus you have in the tank? if its is and its shy i have found other discus company will bring them out faster. they sulk lol

haha yes and my dolphin ate his girl friends eggs as soon as she spat them out. then got a beating from her - that was his first time breeding with her. may need practice to get it right? bit like humans really....it just gets better and better lmao

Thanks for the info. appreciated. When I set up my tank I just used water from my guppy tank and let it go cold before i added the fish. at present they are only in a small tank, what would be suggested to be a good water change ammount and how often please? do they like to live in clean water more? can you tell with these guys when they are about to have babies like guppies or are they more like platies? cheers. 8)

Hi I have just got some of these leopard fish and am also trying to find information on them with no luck. How often do they have babies and how many would an average size have at one time? Cheers. a proper name would be great if anyone knows too.

hey afrikan. It was awesome to have met you. great that you let me pick your brains about fish and have learnt heaps more just from talking to you. Great to finally meet someone who is not going to lead another a-stray when it comes to fish. Open and honest. I LIKE THAT! My tanks consists of. guppies, swords, platies, bristle nose's, Golden black eyed bristle noses, pitball ancistrus/pleco, khuli's, blue diamond discus, snakeskin scribble discus, Blue lumpheads, Alunoara's, Frontosa, Fryeri, red zebras, & electric yellows. Please excuse my spelling people, still learning the names of types of fish :-?

Hi I got recomended this site by a friend so i joined up, Really enjoy reading what everyone has to say and always being able to learn new things. Started off with one tank that soon grew into 5 and still want more fish and more tanks. "I can't stop buying them" very addictive!
