Yea i kinda find it funny that they are convinced its not a syno.

I just found the ehiem one for $50 and it has a fan to stop the food from clogging I never need to go upstairs,but my brother,mum and dad see the tank every day and let me know when either a fish is missing,dead or looking sick,i really only go up there once a week or so,The main reason I want one of these is also because the bad lid,glass and light arrangement, I have to unplug the Light,remove it and then put it back,eachtime i feed. It really is annoying.

Its just that it would suck for the person buying it if they are a beginner and want a pictus.

I am looking at buying one or 2 for my larger tanks soon, What are the recomended Reasonably price ones? Its mainly for my My thats upstairs that doesnt get too much attention.

YOUR QUESTION: Not a PICTUS!!!! You have been told its not, and its not! It is a synodontis catfish from African(not sure what species though) ,Definately not a Pictus from the family pimelodus. Take my advice and Change the auction name to something like- Synodontis-Unknown Species. Noooo!! Not jebo, We have had 2 50W jebos off TM and both times the thrmostat stuffed up and heated tank to 35+W on the lowest setting. Just warning you.

Those fish have really cool jaws on them
