But what i dont get is, How will you get a shock if its all wired up into the hood? And if you get a shock while making it, WHy would it be plugged in, Ive only ever got one shock from mains,out of all the lights i have wired in and that was in the centre of my palm.

DIY, Theres nothing easier. The shocks dont hurt, they just make all the muscles and tendons etc in your hand close up lol :lol: Very weird feeling,no pain though.

Elitemini filters are good, i have one running in a 18L and a 40L tank with no problems

Yes goldfish need oxygen, but the filter is oxygenating when the water goes back into the tank.

SO it has ceramic rings in the top then? You dont need a oxygen tablet. But you will need to find the goldfish new homes i think. These tanks are more suited to small tropical fish IMO.

THe tank is too small for goldfish, THey can get up to 25cm+. Does the pump have a sponge in it? And is the tank in direct sunlight?
