  1. I haven't seen it yet but the design the guy showed me was like any normal metal stand with a another piece of metal running down the full lenght of the stand so that could support the middle of tank as its 90cm wide
  2. I have a quick question about my metal stand. The guy at the shop reckons it will be fine to sit the aquarium on a bit of foam directly on top of the metal frame (Just bare metal, no cladding etc). Is that going to be ok?
  3. He was telling the truth, I could also drain the water out of my fish tank and stick a few guppies in there.... They wouldn't like it and would probably die but you CAN do it lol.
  4. To some people 60L is a "huge tank" it really annoys me sometimes looking on trademe for fish tanks and the only thing in the title is" huge tank" "BIG tank" "Massive tank!!!!!" sometimes i lol  People have no idea about fish, its not like going to the petshop and buying a kitten or puppy.
  5. RULES: Very simple, I start the story with a word and then the next poster adds another word and so on and so on to create a long story that is random and funny. START: Once....
  6. you could just bungy cord the tank and stand to the wall to stop it falling over, and adjust the water level so it doesn't tip out :happy1: That was a joke for the record.
  7. Normal fertalizers are fine, just think of water in the wild (it has all the same minerals etc in it). Clown Loaches don't have scales that act as "barrier" as such, so if something CAN be toxic to fish by overdosing like adding medication or adding certain fertilizers that have a set dosage you should half the the dose to allow for the clown loaches sensitivity. Most potentially harmfull additives these days have warnings on the back about following the set dosage. Also, if in doubt avoid using random brands and stick to the more common well known brands such as: SeaChem, API, Sera, aqua one etc etc Its a bit like removing an oven mit from one hand, and then removing a hot tray from an oven. One hand handles it fine, the other not so well
