hy guys just an up date striped the mums today 25 fry all up they still have a bit of egg sack left but all seem to be happy and healthy :bounce: put mums back into the main tank and one spat out a baby i missed poor little bugga didnt have a chance befor he even reached the bottom one of my pearl eartheaters swooped in and munchedhim . But all in all everything seems to be going well :lol:

me to i just give a good scrub in hot water and stick em in i have 5 tanks with rocks from outside and havent had any probs

hi guys i will b needing some brine shrimp for my fry shortly but have no idea how to raise them have been given a couple of rough explanations but still not sure ie how much salt to add to water, what type of salt, containers to use thanks for any help.

hi guys have got a colony of Electric yellows 1 male 4 females any way have noticed one of the females lower jaw seems to be saggy/swollen does this mean she is holding ? she is also keeping to herself and staying in one particular plant she is about 6 cm long they were purchased as fry with breeding in mind about 7-8 mounths ago thanks for any advise :-? :-? :-?

hi all i am building a fish room in my shed 3x6 meters in size just wondering if there is anybody near by that would allow me to veiw there simaler setups dont mind a bit of a travel also any advise would be awsome eg; filtration ideas for multiple tanks ,tank sizes ,insulation, ventilation cheers

yea there is i think i might take him out though and put him in another tank cause iv just been watchin and the other fish have been hangin around him dont seem to be attacking him just all in the same area when there is heaps of room in the rest of the tank

hi i have a baby red spot plec with wot looks like grey mould on side of him he seems to be staying in the same area of the tank to bought him a couple of weeks ago hes in a tank with lion heads an pearl earth eaters all juvenials the seem happy and healthy cheers :-?

im not to sure the guy jst said there were some fish i may even give them to a pet shop if there a type that arnt compatible with aggressives

i have used thes as live food for my cichlids they love them but stoped as was worried about introducing other unwanted parasites just used to go out at nite to a local stream by the beach with a net theres thousands hangin out in the weed :roll:
