hey all im looking at building 2 timber tank stands 1 5ft and 1 4ft i have access through work to decent timber and they will be a steel framed type also just loosing sleep ect thinking how im going to go about it how to materials need ect if anyone has any plans or advice it would be awesome i was thinking of rimu tg and v but dont know exactly ho to lol any help would be great cheers Geremy

thanks all for the advise i was given last night by my boarder his spare filter he inherited from a freind from a turtle set up its a aqua one tornado 606 2000lph i have ordered a new sponge from pet store and i will use this until i can get an external adventualy anyone think this filter is a dud no good for my tank please tell me as i would hate to use something that was no good but i think 10 cycles plus should be good lol i will do regualer water changes ect and clean filter ect i am always ringing penuts and picking their brains so im in good hands with them.also with a hellpful bunch on here touch wood i will get it right cheers all Geremy

hi all new to this game ive got the bug after seeing my cousins cichlids (another wainuiomation on here lol) i just have to get some.Well a bit about myself, me and my wife have been married 3 years im 24 my wife is 23. We have two young sons 2 and 4 mnths they are a hand full but they are fun. Im a joiner at a specialist door firm and love classic cars and animals we have 2 gold fish well my son does lol,adog,cat and soon a tropical set up.Me and my wife own our own home wich we are proud of and also to explain my user name a 1974 bright yellow hq 2 door monaro,allthough a work in progress 20k later lol,well any more anyone would like to know please just ask.Im looking at starting a tank 3ft or 4ft for cichlads after seeing my cousins fish they are so beautifull so im currently on the hunt fo a set up perferebly complete so if anyone in the welly area knows of a set up for sale please let me know thanks and bye for now.
