yes i also used this method. I used mosquito netting tho. fattened up the females then pulled the net upwards so they had the whole length of the tank to swim in but only 10cm of space downwards.

yup the females actualy eat it. The male doesnt seem to mind to much about sharing

How do you call it cruelty when its surviving and growing all year round?

Hows it. I have 2 females in my bn colony that always have sucken in stomachs. Any idea what this is? Im feeding them heaps and they still dont want to fatten up or breed :-?

hahahha. Ive got a 3ft with 2 females and 2 males. been trying for weeks to catch smaller male so I can put more females in. When I first go them off rcon021 they bred a cople of times then stopped. None of the females have showed any signs of breeding untill the other day I noticed the larger female had abit of a bulge in her stomach. The other one on the other has a realy sunken in stomach and always had. Alone with all the other females that were in their. perhaps worms??? The males dont have this problem at all tho. Please help me out

I always used to think mine came out headfirst. When the odd one came out tail first it got stuck for afew mintues. Or when you have a heavily pregnant female and shes pumping them out one after another, they are in a little ball and just spring into normal size and skink to the bottom with their heavy yoke sacks
