Watch out for the snails eating the eggs!!! put them in after the spawn

Hiya. When i bred them bred them in a small tank. Set up a sponge filter then conditioned the water etc etc. I went to the fabric shop and brought some mosquito netting and put it in the tank so it was a big net basically. This netting allowed the eggs to fall out of harms way. I used 6 zebra danios as the like small groups and put them into the net .Have the net 2-3 inches into the water. Feed them up on white worms on god flake. Hope that helps Let me know how it goes.

I went shopping today and got a 13-14cm female bristle nose for $10!!! The male taht was in the tank comes up along her and flares his fins and nudges her Is this them just getting to each other or do they hate each other lol??? Hes like half her size to :lol:

I went shopping today and got a pair of betta's for like $25 or something. The males blue and heaps of other colours to. Female is duller but still has lots of blue in her too. I was wondering Why the female is so fat??? Shes like 4-5cm. Also when ever the male see's her he will flare his gills then chase her around untill she hides in the plants. anyone no whats this about?

Hi there saw some fish the other day and was just wondering if they are very hard to get ahold of. They were albino zebra fish.

I have guppy fry with Briste noses but dont no about eggs.

When they are older then females tend to be alot bigger than the males im told.

Hiya. The female guppy stores the males sperm and can fetilize up to 3 more broods after mating.Hope that helps. What i normaly do is just wait for afew months and if she doesnt show any signs of being pregnate then she needs more male company to have another lot.

Well ive got a pair that have breed for me ONCE. They are showing no signs of breeding. Should i get more females for him???? Also im going to put another cave in eg a coconut shell. He doesnt realy have a main tank he likes jsut a peice of wood. WIll he breed on this? Thanx

Only one has the extention on its fins. The other is rounded on both the fins.

hey. Shes now givin birth but their not albino(no red eyes) they do how ever have have pale skin like mum. Anyone got any spare males i can borrow? :bounce:

Eric is far from a loser. Im 13 years old to.For months eric been coming to my house and dropping off fish and givin me fish. Hes always there to ansa my qusetions. Some people here take things abit to seriously. Fnzas is a great place and i have had help from loads of people on here. I have to say i ask some pretty dumb questions and eric's just said "google in dude". I havent run across anyone that has meant to make me feel bad. For every "loser" on here theres about 100 other great people. Ive got 7 tanks and hope to have many more dont let other people bring you down just go for it. Fish has saved me from borden and ive met so many great people. This place needs more enthusists at our age like us My 2 cent worth :bounce:

Lol guys.My breeding pair of bncf have the highest waste level in any of my tank. The tank is bare and you can realy see how much they poo a day lol. They dirty the tank within 3 days. Ive got great filtration and they still manage to make me do a water change every 3 days :evil: The joys of fish keeping.
