  1. it is indeed (about the roo) And about the breeding of birds A friend of mine in Holland is breeding the Kakariki with great success It's a shame we can't do that here, it is a really nice bird and pretty easy to breed as well
  2. ok I was wondering about that but shouldn't that be explained? I would assume (I know I shouldn't) it would be the pump capacity of the pump
  3. I mean that the output of the filter is 1700 and not 700, what it states whenever you select the filter in aqadvisor The 700 stands for the max size of the fish tank
  4. First of all thanks for adding this range of canister filters but remark on the Unimax filter The Unimax 700 does: Product features Wattage: 38 W Max output: 1700 l/h Tank volume: 700 l I think someone is pulling your leg on this one Feti fetus Reed http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fetus But correct me if I'm wrong
  5. No experience either but al the info I can find indicates a annual killie in a temp range of 20-22 C They are bottom spawning annual fish. Some scattered information here Or maybe you can contact these people good luck
  6. same trick but in Inches Equipments Tank (LxDxH): 60 x 16 x 24 inch (99.7gUS) Filters: Selected species [Edit Species] 30 x Adolfo Cory (Corydoras adolfoi) 2 x Angelicus Pleco L073 (Hypancistrus sp. L073) 20 x Arulius Barb (Puntius tambraparniei) Recommendations/Warnings/Suggestions/Notes Note: Angelicus Pleco L073 needs driftwood. Recommended temperature range: 22 - 25 C. Recommended pH range: 6 - 7.2. Recommended hardness range: 5 - 15 dH. You have plenty of aquarium filtration capacity. Your aquarium filtration capacity for above selected species is 213%. Recommended water change schedule: 40% per week. Your aquarium stocking level is 131%.
  7. I started of with 150 cmx40cmx60cm and then added some random fish, 3 species in total which decreased the tank size to 1/10 of its previous size, it only happens with cm Equipments Tank (LxDxH): 14.99 x 4 x 6 cm (0.1gUS) Filters: Selected species [Edit Species] 30 x Adolfo Cory (Corydoras adolfoi) 5 x African Butterfly Fish (Pantodon buchholzi) 15 x Arulius Barb (Puntius tambraparniei) Recommendations/Warnings/Suggestions/Notes Warning: Adolfo Cory is not recommended for your tank - it may eventually outgrow your tank space, potentially reaching up to 2 inches. Warning: Adolfo Cory requires a tank with more height. Note: African Butterfly Fish may jump - lids are recommened. Warning: African Butterfly Fish is not recommended for your tank - it may eventually outgrow your tank space, potentially reaching up to 4.8 inches. Warning: African Butterfly Fish requires a tank with more height. Warning: Arulius Barb is not recommended for your tank - it may eventually outgrow your tank space, potentially reaching up to 4 inches. Warning: Arulius Barb requires a tank with more height. Warning: Your selected species may eventually require 7876% of your aquarium space. You may need to deal with territorial aggressions later on. Try removing some of (Corydoras adolfoi, Puntius tambraparniei) or get a larger aquarium tank. Recommended temperature range: 23 - 25 C. Recommended pH range: 6 - 7.2. Recommended hardness range: 5 - 15 dH. Your tank is too small - it will require massive amount of frequent water changes per week! Your aquarium stocking level is 5000%. Your tank is seriously overstocked. Unless this setup is temporary, you should consider a larger tank.
  8. done almost the same I used your dimensions and then did a update and the values where 1/10 of what they where I changed first to cm and litres when I reload the page and use inches it doesn't happen but when I say in cm then it gets changed into 60" becomes 15.24 cm 16" becomes 4.06 cm 24" becomes 6.09 cm
