Thanks to Michael and Anna for hosting our meeting, we got a good insight into the fish retail industry and had a good chance to chat to them and other club members about their fish and setups.

I don't know Graham, some of the older more established clubs seem to have their meetings on weeknights, and the newer ones have theirs on the weekend - maybe we are just old fuddie duddies?

Our club started by meeting on Sunday afternoons. This was in the days when shops closed at the weekends and only people like nurses, police, etc had to work so everyone was free to attend. These days it is hard to find a time that suits everyone with businesses running 7 days a week and many doing shift work - that also changes from week to week!

Wednesdays seem to suit most as nobody wants to go out on a Monday (if they are a Monday - Friday worker). We found there were already many meetings being held on Thursdays and Fridays and Saturdays were social nights for some. Tuesdays only suited half our members so Wednesdays became club night by default.

Found the Sodastream bottles Sam, will send two full ones up with Wok when he turns up. Some are slightly longer than others by about 20mm which ones do you want?

I have no idea how old they are, but they still have the seals and caps on them. The labels look different to the one you have but they are Sodastream branded.
