Hi, just trying to see how many other people from the dunedin area are members and what types of fish they keep?

last time I met the club they had a wide range of ages from about 8yrs up.

Yeah, I've found two of the 3 fish clubs I've gone to meetings of to have a good range of ages, mostly teens- mid 40s. The third Wellington club appeared to have an age range of high 50s and up, I think I was about half the age of the next youngest person there...

You want to find clubs that have a consistently high average age you need to try radio controlled plane clubs. The average age of NZMAA members is 56 last I heard.

Wasnt trying to imply that every1 in the club was old but just trying to see the age range be good if there are people in their early 20's that i could relate to more most of our mates think we are strange with all the tanks and fish

all i can say is student life is great here if your into going out partying in town and meeting lots of random ppl. But i think you maybe slightly dissapointed in the quality of our fish selection compared to chch.

ill have a nano marine tank so most of the livestock ill be takeing down with me i dont think there will be much marine stock in the shops :lol:

No only one shop has marnie fish and that is only 2 fish. Pet warehouse has a marine set up but no fish in it

Ive just got goldies at the mo in a 5 foot tank

I was in pet warehouse tonight, had my dog at the vet

want another dog i got 10 . Ive got a 4.5f and a 4f but i keep cichlids, oscars, plecsand lots of guppies
