Blue Rams-Finally!!

Featured Replies

Finally we have added a pair of blue rams to our community tank! They are awesome!

Any advice would be appreciated!

They like it hot, soft and acidic (27-30oC,ph 6-7)

Congrats on your purchase, im sure you will enjoy them as much as we enjoy ours :bounce:

cool! Our tank is exactly that! Yay! Yea they are very impressive

I take it from your last post that you didn't quarantine them before adding them to your tank??

Tisk, tisk.

Lot easier to have a bit of peace of mind and treat a BB quarantine tank, than a stocked, planted community tank, that could have very expensive fish inhabitants.

Next time huh??

i alway forget to quarantine my new fish maybe because i dont have a spare tank  ....

what other fish do u have in your community tank?

Blue rams are very prone to white spot

I sell heaps of them here and i always tell customers try and use a Q tank first

I got mine from Goldfish bowl in Hamilton. I was very impressed with his stock compared to others locally!

They are still doing really well and seem to love my tank full of hiding spots and plants.
