Duke
My yellow leather is not looking it's best since I have added it to the new tank. It opens up for a few days now and then but is staying closed for longer periods. It is next to a standard and yellow finger leather which are doing very well and have grow heaps. Under mainly T5 light which is the same as my old tank were it was going nicley. It has two 6100 blasting on and off from 1m away. As stated everything else is doing fine. I have 2 x 250w MH at the rear of the tank and 4 x T5's at the front of the tank. All my hard corals are under MH while the softs are under T5's. Hammers etc are under the streams and soft corals which like current are at the other end of the tank. I am assuming yellow corals like current as it was getting blasted (closer) by 1 x 6100 in my old tank which was only 350l not 900l. I am adding aminoacids 3drops 3x weekly & iroan 1 x drop 2x weekly & Pohls vitalizer 9drops daily which my old tank never recieved. any ideas? ghostface
how are you finding the aminos?
raeh1
I think yellow leathers are easily the hardest leather to keep. In my opinion. Thats under metal halides that is. I am giving my second one a goo at the moment. Now trying it beside my pulsing xenia as I think they like the same conditions.
