shaneo Posted June 6, 2006 Report Share Posted June 6, 2006 Fragged three of my xenias that are growing to big, couldn't find my cotton so I stuffed the frags into holes / cracks ect in rock for meantime. One came loose and got minced through a power head. It was only a little fella but made a mess!! question is should I do a big water change or will it not pollute the water too much ? tel Posted June 6, 2006 Report Share Posted June 6, 2006 a w/c will help and ease your mind if one is possible. 20% is only 2x20lt pails. dont stress, my stream ate my anemone during the night and i woke to see the tank cloudy. as cloudy as 1 cup of milk in a 20 lt pail cloudy. i did 20% and ran extra carbon and all was good.
