What is likely to be the problem if a guppy has still born fry?

A larger %age of the fry are coming out dead than alive and it has happened on previous births for her as well.

my first question would be how big or small (age) is she?

She is a large fish,couldn't be sure of the age.

Do you move her to a breeding trap for the birthing??

Yes it is in a breeding trap now with both dead and live fry caught in the bottom of it.

ur probably putting her in to the breeding trap too early and stressing her out making her deliver early causing the still birth.

Premature birth.

Get another, but smaller tank than your main aquarium and use that.

Have it set up with the same conditions as your main tank and have riccia and java moss in it for fry cover.

The plant also produces infusorians for the fry to eat.

Indian and java fern are also good plants to add to a breeding tank... the fry can hide in them and seem to eat their roots quite happily.
