AquaNut
Hi People, Im in the process of planning my new fish room which will be a Tin Shed housed in a garage. Have any of you done this before and what did you do? Any ideas would be appreciated as Im sure some of you will have some simple ideas to do with insulation and heating. Basically I am going to insulate inside and out with thick polystyrene and just use a fan heater with thermostat set at 21 deg. Your thoughts please Cheers AQUANUT A
Wok
polystyrene should provide all the insulation you need. yes... thermostat at 21 should be fine. I heard that most people have a problem with heat in an insulated room.. not cold go for it Aquanut

sharronpaul
Hi Aquanut, We're in Tga, have just set up our garage with some growout tanks and if you like you can come and see our garage and rooms. Still need to finish bits and pieces but you'll get the basic idea. If your room is very well insulated, you will have a problem with heat, not cold. PM us if you like. Cheers, Paul and Sharron
