Gold Fish Help

Could be just the angle of the pic but I thought it was more protruding on one side than the other, hence my egg bound thoughts, rather than dropsy. I have had goldfish look like this and live perfectly happily with no problems whatsoever.

No expert but I agree, didn't really look like dropsy but like Caryl said because it looked "fatter" on one side.

What makes a fishy become egg bound? For fish that are egg layers, shoot is that the right term layers, anyway do they not just release the eggs every so often??????

I remember way back posting a pic of one of my neons, who was fat but no scales protuding & it was thought to be carrying eggs. The fishy was fine & I do notice every once in awhile a couple of the neons look "fat".
