jude
Second plant is ambulia but I can't help with the others. I recognise a few but am not sure of the names. Whatever the last plant is, I like it. If you ever have any to spare I'd love to get some depending on what sort of conditions it likes of course. If it needs high light levels then it would be pointless to put it in my tank. I'd be happy to pay something for it. Cheers Jude
evilknieval69
the last plant is tiger lotus. quite a rare plant i think. it likes high light levels good luck
antwan
ok, all the ones that you have two pics of, i would say that they are assorted crypts, the one you think is quite common is hygrophila polysperma, and the one you think is a sword is japanese rush. last one is definately tiger lotus. thanks. Caryl
2. ambulia 4. might be star grass. My polysperma had wider leaves I think 6 is a crypt as I suspect are some of the others and I agree with antwan re the tiger lotus
alanmin4304
the comboda (cabomba) is actually ambulia (Limnophila sessiliflora)
JoandWilly
okay so thats a few of them identified, what about the others Also out of neons, guppys, platties, gourami's skunk loachs and a couple of small bristlenose's, what would be eating our plants??? antwan
definately wouldn't be your bristlenose, im pretty sure guppies and platies are vegetarians so they could be the culprits. I know nothing about loaches so it could be them?
jude
Ignore me - I was just apologising for saying the plant was cabomba instead of ambulia but then I looked at the original post and I did say ambulia ............ I think its time to go back to bed     Cheers Jude
Warren
Bristlenose can do a lot of damage to some plants. They suck too hard and damage the surface membrane. You can usually tell because you get white/yellow patches that slowly turn into holes or the edge of the leaf will rot.
