gizmo
Hi all, I was new in last night, but has taken me a while to find my way round (thick as a brick somethimes). I have a 5ft tank with a foot long (not Subway) Pleco and 10" Oscar who is rather sick (that's how I found my way in here. I love animals, we have a pond of great goldfish, 2 Staffys, 3 rats, and a Indian Ringneck parrot, oh - a husband and a couple of kids. Looks like a great site and so far people have been great,I think I'm gonna have a great time here. But I would really like a cute picture under my name and don't know how to get one :-? gizmo
It's bad news, I thought he was on the mend. Sadly I can't stand seeing him (Rupert) suffering anymore, so we have an appointment at the vets tomorrow morning. It's gonna be sad but it's for the best I feel. Thanks for all your kind help and wishes, I'll be needing advice now on what to do with my large Pleco, I think I'll go back to cold water fish. sharn
be strong, your doing alot better than most by giving it a peaceful death. hes going to that great big pond in the sky with heaps of plants to pull up, gravel to push around and other oscars to play with. i dont think you should give up your tropicals, get another baby oscar and watch him grow and get lots of stories off him, maybe create a baby book lol. good luck and im thinking of you! AMAZONIAN
Welcome to the site gizmo. Enjoy your Tropical while you can. Remember every day above ground is a bonus. I hope that like me, you will still be involved with "The Fish" forty six years hence.
