Foam after 45 mins Whole unit puls my trusty berlin in the corner Beer o'clock

dogmatix
Well things were going ok last night so i decided to try and help speed things up. dumped a full vial of reef booster in there, this normally makes my berlin go mental, but instead the tunze lost any head it had. This morning it was almost full with very clear liquid, have cleaned out that cup and now i may be getting some where Got head but no skimmate, looking good tho Ben

Sharkey
Is the foam on the outfeed? Is it to stop bubbles?

reef
looks like they are not bad skimmers. Much better than the older model Tunze comline 9015. Whats the bubble size like?
dogmatix
Im going to clean it out early next week so i can get a good idea of the funkyness of the skimmate, i'll try and get a photo of the bubble size then. i have a feeling the pump re-circulates small bubbles inside the skimmer body to make them smaller again ? But the bubble size was very good when i started the unit up from scratch. Ben

reef
There's a mod on RC to make the comline even better It has just come out so the mod will not be for the new tunze skimmer line, more like the old model which was below par.
