Apisto
Last saterday it was again time to let the "NBAT-keurmeester" judge my tanks for the first stage of the national competition. I wasn not completely satisfied with the tanks, but never the less I thought they where not looking that bad. The "Keurmeester" (judge) was in front of my tanks longer than planned, so I have a feeling it will be OK. Hopefully enough to get me to the next round I still have to upload the final pictures, but these give you an idea (only links 'cause of size limitation): http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a176/ ... _klein.jpg http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a176/ ... ma2311.jpg

Apisto
I think that may be petrified wood Caryl Alan NZKA 104 Yes indeed, those three rocks are petrified wood. That is very hard to get here, but I finally found 4 pieces, only used three. First I had yellow/orange but that didn't do it. Awesome Apisto, Just Awesome.... many of us are palying around with Aquascaping and therefore it would be great to check out your photo diary of this project with some notes, that if you don't mind sharing your secrets. I want to just achieve the perfect icon in my flounge! No prob's but be warned I have to update the project of the big tank, I think it is stuck somewhere in 2004, but i;ll be doing that in the near future. big tank (link to my site): http://aquaclopedie.dyndns.org/bak/index.html small tank, this is one of two tanks next to each other in my study (link to my auqariumforum): http://www.venividivissie.org/viewtopic ... 26&start=0 The last layout should be somewhere around page 14 I think. I'll be getting a bigger tank in the near future, perhaps it is nice to put the whole proces of scaping it in a topic here? It wont be an Amano nor a dutch tank, but my own style
Caryl
Not only could you put the whole process in here as a topic but if you wrote an article (with pics) I would be happy to print it in our magazine The NZ Aquarium World

It would be great to have an entire article with pics here online........

If you like I do have it from the two tanks above also I'll do that. The tank is scheduled to arrive begin next year so...
