Conaquavict Posted September 25, 2005 Report Share Posted September 25, 2005 A lot of folk are using turkey heart now instead, it is a lot leaner and supposed to be better for your fish, havn't tried it yet myself, but i intend to. Conaquavict Posted September 25, 2005 Report Share Posted September 25, 2005 DEVON, here is a recipe that i got from my friend, she feeds it to her Disdus but recommends it for all fish, Feed it twice a week as a treat, it also helps condition your fish if you plan to breed them. 3lb of beefheart well trimmed , (remove all fat) 1pkt of prawns about 4ounce 6 small carrots, grated. 4 cloves of garlic baby leaf spinich 4 egg youlks tetra prima about 100grams two salmon steaks fresh about 1lb 2pkts of gelatine disolve in 1/2 cup of hot water everything finely minced in blender then add the gelatine put into plastic bags and roll out then freeze.
