suphew Posted September 19, 2005 Report Share Posted September 19, 2005 I normally set mine to about 12 hours then adjust depending on how the plants are doing. Remember that most plants etc in tank come from tropical cuntries that have longer light periods year round. BK Posted September 20, 2005 Report Share Posted September 20, 2005 Plants will grow every quickly at 20 hours of ligthand will flower when ligths are reduced to 11 3/4 hours not to good for fish .
