Loopy
i have come across http://www.aquabid.com/ and keep looking at all the fish for sale on there. It is cool, like trademe just for fish!! i just wish i knew how to go about actually buying something from there. i have NO idea what to do or where to start. what would be the 'rules'? how would i go about buying something from Aquabid? what about maf and quarintine etc?(sp?) Does anyone have any ideas tips or experiencethat they could offer me?
Caryl
Since it is a .com I would assume it is based in the USA so you couldn't buy fish or plants unless you have a quarantine facility
livebearer_breeder
If its being sold from an orgin of NZ then your fine, otherwise forget about it. Shae
misnoma
Forget it basically quarantine = so expensive it's not worth it unless you're importing huge numbers of anything.

Wok
Sorry Just woke up. Like Misnoma said look at the soft water you will be getting. Imagine how easy it would be to aqua scape a living room. you can get your living room looking like an amazon rain forest in no time. NATURE IDENTICAL I would call it  and the other rooms would be different parts of the world... Gouramis would have an Asian Theme Cichlids in the bathroom would be an African theme Imagine the possibilities... would beat Billany's tanks anytime.
