My tank is empty at this stage, I'm planning to start out with some Danios to cycle the tank - my reading tells me this is a good fish to start with? Alan Posted August 23, 2005 Report Share Posted August 23, 2005 Yes Mitch has got it. Go see Brian at Heapey Terrace. best place in hamilton. Only trouble is he takes Sunday and Monday off. So plan around that. Don't forget to tell him, if you do, that you belong to the FNZAS. There is also a Fish club in Hamilton, check the Club News. Rob Posted August 23, 2005 Report Share Posted August 23, 2005 Yip - definitely the Goldfish bowl on Heaphy Tce. It looks small but he packs in a good range of stock and is very knowledgable. They still going Rob?? Or someone that I know using them as a supplier. Nice people to visit too if you have some spare gas or passing through. dave Posted August 28, 2005 Report Share Posted August 28, 2005 Hi Tony Deafently goldfish bowl , Tropical blues and Pet world are all good helpful shops for purchasing anything to do with fishkeeping. At the next meeting of the Waikato Aquarium Soc we are having an auction which club members bring along fish , plants and whatever they would like to place in it. You are welecome to come along and meet others which also enjoy the hobby.
