reef
I will be putting a lot more thought into appearance and not only functionJoeBlog The streams are a bit of a eye sore so it is good if you can build them in a void. But how does the barebottom stack up with appearance.
suphew
Now that is cool! Any of you importers got prices etc yet? PM me if you like. I would be keen looks like a better option than streams.....

JoeBlog
JoeBlog The streams are a bit of a eye sore so it is good if you can build them in a void. But how does the barebottom stack up with appearance. I guess I am one of the strange breed that actually thinks that Starboard BB looks good. I love the bright white bottom (as in TM's tank), not only for appearance, but also as function since it increases the amount of light to the corals. I really, really want some sea urchins to eat the coraline algae so that it will stay nice and clean without routine scrapping. Those new stream style pumps look pretty sweet!! When are you going to have some available Reef????
reef
When are you going to have some available Reef???? due out feb/march 2006 Pricing will be about the same as a stream. will keep you posted.
Pies
I'm sold, I might be able to fit 2 of them to replace 2 of my streams. Put one in the over flow, one on the outside of the tank depending on how big they are. Great idea! Pie
Brianemone
hmmmm tempting, doesnt look easy to direct the flow though

Brianemone
not sure exaclty how much ill need yet, all depends on what i decide to do for the aquascape ill probably use alot less than half though
Brianemone
well the final price for the tank 450$ (with diamante) is double the price of the tank without diamante 205$ so still very reasonable. i doubt it would be economical on a tank any larger. can't wait to see it though (shhhhhh dont tell claire)
