Joze Posted April 28, 2005 Report Share Posted April 28, 2005 last night I was doing a water change on the swimming pool and planned to fill it today - the pool has had goldfish in it growing out. It was about 50cm deep and unfortunately during the night I lost the lot, I can only put it down to cold as they are all on the bottom and look as though they just went to sleep. Alan Posted April 29, 2005 Report Share Posted April 29, 2005 I would then say that the water you had left there was a concentration of the contaminants in the pond and that is what killed the fish and NOT the cold. When we clean our pond out, i use the pump to pump out the water and another hose to refill it at the same time.. havent lost any fish at all.. we r up the road in Horowhenua.. Speaking of cold, my oldies flew out for Christchurch today, I'd love to see the look on there faces.
