SergeantSkull
Has anyone ever spotlighted at the stream behind the zoo. Of so, is it appease access to waterside and what have you found? Another thing, if anyone is looking for giant or banded kokopu in Auckland. There's a stream near the boat club in Maraetai inside Adah Platts Mills park. They are infesting the place. I have spotted 33 in one night including various other species and eels. Good to see such large numbers of them. They're not very shy either as they are used to people. During the day they're under the banks with the koura but at night they're jumping all around. Anyway any help would be appreciated about the auckland zoo stream. Thanks.
Silverdollarboy2
I'm pretty sure someone on here said that you can find shrimp in there, but I have not spotlighted there.

Benjansss
Nah sorry but there where enough that it took so long to get them all off and put them back in the stream that I got sun burnt
kiwiraka
Theyd likely be Richardsonianus mauianus, had these in the ponds at our last property. Cool creatures but freaky, if you touched the surface of the water theyd swim in from all directions. http://www.landcareresearch.co.nz/resources/identification/animals/freshwater-invertebrates/guide/no-jointed-legs2/segmented-worms/leeches2
