camtang
One of my GT's got a pretty bad beating over night. I have now isolated it, but I am worried about the amount of tail it has missing. Is large daily water changes and rock salt the best remedy to help it heal and keep fin rot away? alanmin4304
Yes. Keep an eye on it so you can treat in the early stages if a problem turns up.
hovmoller
Female Geo of mine got a beating like that once too.. then had a massive fungal/bacterial infection in the tail and completely lost the tail. I put her in a separate tank with lots of wunder tonic and TLC and the infection/fungus disappeared and to my complete amazement she regrew her entire tail!! LYNDYLOO
Amazing how they can regenerate their fins I had a discus that lost it's tail due to fin rot, tail was completely gone, with good clean water they regenerate quite quickly
