jackypukeko
is it rare to get seven albino guppies out of grey scissor tails
livingart
I would have thought it impossible to get Poecilia reticulata out of Rasbora trilineata

Insectile
it would depend on the genotypes of the parents
JaSa
it would depend on the genotypes of the parents Only one posibility here as he describes it with both parents being grey fish: Both have to be heterozygous for albinism and therfore 25% of the fry are albinos. Taking into account that albinos are a bit weaker + get eaten more often by their mother; cut that percentage down a bit in reality. So 7 (25%) albino fry * 4 = 28 (100%) fry in a drop which is feasible. It all adds up and to answer jackypukeko's question: No it is not. Cheers, JaSa PS: jackypukeko: Still waiting for some pictures of the fish you were selling HERE...
